General dentist Sydney CBD

Routine care and more complex treatment in one practice.

General dentistry is the foundation of long-term oral health. Regular assessment allows the team to monitor teeth, gums, restorations, bite changes and developing problems before they become more difficult to manage.

The Dentistry provides check-ups, professional cleaning, tooth-coloured fillings, routine extractions, root canal treatment, splints, mouthguards, children’s dentistry and denture care. Treatment recommendations are based on clinical need rather than a one-size-fits-all schedule.

Your examination

A dental examination may include assessment of decay, cracks, tooth wear, gum health, existing crowns and fillings, bite, jaw symptoms and the soft tissues of the mouth. Radiographs are recommended only where clinically indicated.

Prevention and maintenance

Professional cleaning may include scaling, polishing and air polishing where suitable. Recall intervals are based on individual risk.

Coordinated treatment

If implant surgery, wisdom tooth removal, nitrous oxide or same-day CEREC care is required, this can be coordinated through Macquarie Dental.
